Family: Eight children, lots of grandchildren (widowed in 1984)

Hobbies: Reading, Writing, Listening to music, Playing musical instruments, developing family genealogy. Have a passion for history & enjoy traveling.

Special Achievements (Personal/Professional):
1.) Married, had a family, and became a grandparent. Along the way, I achieved my childhood vision of becoming a registered nurse.
2.) After working in acute care nursing for six years, I ventured into the business world by opening a Medical Staffing Agency.
3.) I have the satisfaction of knowing that thirteen of my children & grandchildren contribute to their communities by working in the health care system.
4.) As an Equal Opportunity Employer, I had the privilege of employing and working with quality employees from the general population and from a variety of minority groups.
5 ) Through the Staffing Co, Nurses were often returned to the workforce who would otherwise have left.
6.) Through the Staffing Co, Health Care Providers were better able to keep their commitment of safe quality care to their patients.
